Gallows Pole appeared the first time to the european audience with their 1999 released three track demo "Over The Rainbow" which beats hundreds of bands to be selected for a release on Rock Hards magazin sampler "Unerhört" in february 2000.

Best reviews and successful gigs are the reward for years of work.
The deal with Shark-Records and the march 2000 released debut "Gallows Pole - Gallows Pole" are only the beginning of a new musical era.
Gallows Pole are strong in composing melodic and powerful songs with exotic touch and a lot of influences of the homeland yugoslavia, from three of the members.

The second longplayer "Exorcism" is out now.

This eventful album beats all what GP did before! From speedy melodic Power Metal songs like "Politicans" over the straight powerful rammer "Enemy Maker" to `80 style mainstream as "Freedom To Fly" and of course the epossong "Exorcism" with it´s specials of Gallows Poles marvelous balkan folk playings. All this and much more is included in this new G.P. work...

We put already two MP3 demos of two new songs in our Releases-section to download.
The new album was recorded totally live in studio (except a few overdubs on vocals, guitar solos and keyboards) to get this extraordinary  Gallows Pole live feeling also on tape. The recordings, mixing and mastering were done like the first album and the "Over The Rainbow" demo at Dust-Music studio (D-Hilchenbach).
